The Auburn Mermaids is a recreational synchronized swim team administered through the Auburn Recreation District (ARD). Our competition team welcomes youth ages 7 through 18 to come and learn the skills and artistry of a little known but beautiful sport! We also welcome swimmers ages 5 and above to our Junior Mermaids program for beginners. Our coaching staff and parent volunteers offer training and guidance in the basics of sculling, eggbeater, musicality, and figures. Training clinics and conditioning begin in March and our official season runs May through July culminating in a league wide championships competition and a community watershow.
